Erin Thompson, PA-C, MSPAS is an NCCPA-certified and California-licensed Physician Assistant with a passion for aesthetics and all things skin. Erin utilizes an all-natural approach to her aesthetic treatments, specializing in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, medical-grade skincare, and other injectables that serve to subtly enhance beauty, rather than drastically altering it. Erin was trained in aesthetic medicine at the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery in Beverly Hills under the esteemed Dr. Sam Assassa. She has also trained with Allergan Medical Institute and is a certified Botox for Chronic Migraine injector. When she is not working at Bloom Med Spa, she practices mobile wound care in Los Angeles.
Erin is originally from a small town in New Mexico, where she grew up dreaming of moving to California and living near the beach. In 2011, Erin moved to San Diego, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of San Diego in 2015. At USD, she also earned a minor in Biology and sang in several choirs. She then relocated back to New Mexico in 2017 to obtain her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, NM.
Prior to her education as a Physician Assistant, Erin worked as a Phlebotomist for 2 years. She has extensive experience working with needles and helping to make even the most needle-phobic patients feel comfortable during their aesthetic treatments. Erin is a member of multiple professional associations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery (AAAMS). Erin is passionate about education, and always stays up to date on the current most beneficial and innovative treatments. In her free time, Erin enjoys snowboarding, attending concerts, watching sports, and traveling with her fiancé and their 2 corgi mixes.
